Reviews and Ratings
Our stay was a pleasant surprise with an unexpected upgrade to a spacious apartment, making our one-night stop feel luxurious. The breakfast selection was impressive, with plenty of options to start the day right. However, the absence of a bar and restaurant on-site was a downside, as we had to venture out for evening drinks.
The hotel offers a modern and welcoming reception area, but the rooms feel a bit outdated and small. The breakfast was impressive with a great variety, and the serene atmosphere in some rooms made for a comfortable stay. However, some aspects of the hotel, like the parking situation and the building's exterior appeal, left something to be desired.
The hotel served its purpose for a short stay, offering decent accommodations at a fair price. The breakfast selections were a highlight, and despite the compact room size, it was clean and cozy. However, some amenities left much to be desired, and the rooms could use some updating. Overall, it’s a reasonable choice if you’re not looking for luxury.
I stayed at this boutique hotel during my visit to Cambridge, and I have to say, it was a mixed experience. The hotel offered a unique charm and character, especially for a short stay. However, some aspects, like the outdated bathroom and the somewhat jaded service at reception, left me wanting more. The location was a definite plus, making it convenient to explore the city, but I think there are better options available.
I enjoyed my stay at The Lensfield, appreciating how close it was to central attractions and the overall quality of the breakfast provided. The cleanliness and comfort of the room made for a pleasant experience. However, parking was a challenge and the room felt quite small, which may not suit everyone’s preference.
